Jeff Davis, Treasurer

Jeff is a Halifax County native who resides in South Boston; he is a married, father and grandfather. Jeff is a Halifax County High School graduate, has a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science from Longwood University, of which he attended classes at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center from 2000-2002 in pursuit of that degree. 

Jeff is currently the Director of Student Services for the Halifax County Public Schools (HCPS); previously, he was the Director of Special Education, Assistant Principal and Teacher at HCPS, a High School Principal at Mecklenburg County Schools and Director of Special Programs for Charlotte County Schools.

Jeff is very involved in the community by serving on several Boards and associations.  Some of which are: Executive Board President of the Tri-County Mentor Role Model Program, Chairman of the Official Board of Union Grove CME Church, Affiliate member of The Men of Sinai Mentoring Group, Member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Football Officiating Staff- Referee and Member the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD)

Some of Jeff’s hobbies and interests include: Attending Church, family time, Sports officiating (Football-High School/College, Basketball-High School, Volleyball-High School), Health/Fitness and Golf. After school hours, you can find him at the YMCA working out.
