Your gift provides a brighter future for Southern Virginia Higher Education students. As a donor, you have the choice to determine where your gift is allocated.
Currently, we have three funds:
- Annual Fund – Unrestricted gifts used for day-to-day operations or as needed
- Opportunity Fund – Restricted gifts used for SVHEC projects
- Scholarship Fund – Restricted gifts used for the Foundation scholarships

Endowments
Your Gift Can Last Forever
An endowment gift provides a brighter future for Southern Virginia Higher Education Center students. When you make a donation to our endowment, you give a gift with both immediate and long-term benefits.
Endowment donations are invested. A portion of the annual income from the investment is used to address immediate needs at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation. The remaining funds are reinvested to ensure that your support never ends.
