Ann and Sterling Edmunds Scholarship for the Arts Awards over $4,000.00
The Edmunds Scholarship for the Arts supported more than thirty students who participated in The Prizery Summer Camps and Classes. Week-long classes extended from June 20th through July 21st and provided a range of hands-on classes that included: cooking, drawing, dancing, pottery, set construction, jewelry making and more.
The Edmunds Scholarship for the Arts is awarded to low-and moderate-income students living in Halifax, Mecklenburg, and Charlotte Counties. Recipients must seek to enroll in art classes offered by the Community Arts Center Foundation at The Prizery. The Edmunds Scholarship for the Arts was established December 2022 in memory of Ann Chesley and Sterling Edmunds by their children Ann Tyler Allen, Paul C. Edmunds II, and Sterling Edmunds Jr.
