Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation Welcomes Jamie Shelton as Operations Manager 
The Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation (SVHEF) is pleased to announce the addition of Jamie Shelton as its new Operations Manager.
A proud graduate of Halifax County High School, Jamie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Public Policy from the University of Virginia. Returning to serve the community where she was raised, Jamie brings a strong educational foundation, leadership skills, and a commitment to organizational excellence.
As Operations Manager, Jamie will oversee the Foundation’s daily administrative and operational functions, helping to strengthen internal processes and support the continued growth of both the Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation and The Prizery. Her role will be instrumental in ensuring the organization continues to provide outstanding educational opportunities, arts programming, and community engagement throughout Southern Virginia.

The Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation supports educational access, workforce development, scholarships, and community enrichment initiatives while managing The Prizery, Southern Virginia’s regional center for the arts. Together, these efforts create opportunities that strengthen the region through education, culture, and community partnerships.
