Justyce Reid, a 2020 graduate of Halifax County High School, took pleasure in many activities. Every year, she enjoyed participating in the: Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Virginia Beach, South Boston Mites Basketball League, Special Olympics at school. Also, Justyce was a HCHS Cheerleader. She was born with Down Syndrome, but she always lived life to the fullest.
The scholarship is offered to Halifax County High School graduates pursuing a teaching career. Applications are available at the Guidance Department or www.svhef.org Submit application to the Guidance Department or Karen Taylor at Washington Coleman Community Center. Applications are due May 21st.
